Surprise omelette in the pan
Morning cuddles with mini-man.
Early nap for little miss
Love that before-bedtime kiss.
Nothing crossed off my to-do,
But Eli had his fill of food.
Scrambled to get out the door
To see new friends and play some more.
Then back home and we shall see
RJ, will you let me clean?
Constant “mommy!” and water spills
Toddlers equal many thrills.
The day is young, what can I say?
It’s just another manic Monday.
